Overview

Burlington Township Police Department was established in 1946 as a part time auxiliary force.  As a vital component of the Township of Burlington, the police department was given the authority to provide protection of persons and property, prevent crimes, preserve the peace, apprehend offenders, and investigate and resolve incidents effecting public safety.
