12/25/2016 - Burlington Township Police Department Investigating Shooting Incident

BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ –
At 5:15 PM on Saturday, December 24, 2016, the Burlington Township Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Route 130 and Lagorce Boulevard in Burlington Township, NJ.

Upon arrival, officers located a 25 year old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the lower back, legs and jaw. The victim was transported to Capital Health Helene Fuld Trauma Center where he is currently listed in critical but stable condition.

Reports indicate that the victim was walking along Route 130 in the area of Lagorce Boulevard when was shot at close range by a black male wearing a dark colored hooded shirt. That subject was last seen fleeing the scene on foot through the parking lot of the Faith Deliverance Worship Center toward the Polo Ridge Apartment Complex.

No arrests have been made. No weapons have been recovered. The motive for the shooting is being investigated.
