4/9/2018 - BTPD Makes Arrest in April 4th Pedestrian Hit and Run


BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ
– A Willingboro, NJ resident has been arrested and charged with the April 4th pedestrian hit and run collision that occurred at 10:25 pm at Route 541 and Bromley Boulevard.

Lynn Sheppard-Rutledge, a 48 year old female from Willingboro, NJ, turned herself in at the Burlington Township Police Station at approximately 5:00 pm on Sunday April 8, 2018. She was issued one criminal charge for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in serious bodily injury. She was also issued motor vehicle summonses for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle collision, failure to report a motor vehicle collision, and careless driving.

Sheppard-Rutledge was released pending her appearance in court.
