BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ – At 4:26 AM on Saturday, September 3, 2016, the Burlington Township Police Department responded to the 7-11 store located at the intersection of Columbus Road and Neck Road for a report of an armed robbery.
Responding officers discovered that the store attendant was robbed at knifepoint and fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival. Several officers searched the area with the assistance of a K-9 from neighboring Burlington City Police Department. However, they were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black or Hispanic male, approximately 5’5”, muscular build, short facial hair last seen wearing white Nike sneakers, camouflage colored shorts, grey zip-up hooded sweatshirt and a black baseball hat with round sticker on the brim.
