Emergency Services Youth Academy

In the 2025 Emergency Services Youth Academy, children will be provided with an opportunity to learn about the Burlington Township Police Department, the Burlington Township Fire Department, Endeavor Emergency Squad, see a demonstration from the NJSP Aviation Unit, TEAMS Unit and Marine Unit, take a trip to the Department of Defense, show their parents and guardians their drill and ceremony skills at a formal graduation ceremony and MORE! Students will participate in daily physical training and military training and will participate in many hands-on activities throughout the week. The goal of the Youth Academy is to provide the youth in our community with insight into the world of emergency services and how important the partnerships between these agencies and our youth are. We hope the children take away many important life lessons from this week and most importantly, have fun and build new friendships!

The 2025 Emergency Services Youth Police Academy will be hosted July 7th - 10th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, and July 11th at 12:00 pm with graduation commencing at 5:00 pm.

Applicants must be residents of Burlington Township and be entering 6th grade in September of 2025 and no older than having graduated 8th grade in June of 2025. Your child must be able to participate in all five days of the academy to register. If your child has participated in the past, they will not be eligible. This is done to allow other students the opportunity to attend.

Please complete the below form if your child is interested in participating and an officer will contact you with further instructions to include a formal application packet. Participants will be accepted in the order that the applications are received with a limited number of spots available!
