Contact Assistance and Referral Program "CARE"

The purpose of CARE is to contact and assist individuals or groups that may be as risk, or may be more sensitive or vulnerable to extreme weather or other conditions.

Members of the Burlington Township Police Department, along with members of the CERT Team, make calls to residents signed up for the program to confirm they are safe. If we cannot reach them, or their designated emergency contacts, an officer is sent to the residence to check on their well-being. The program is open to all residents of Burlington Township.
