School Resource Officer Program (SROs)

It is the mission of the School Resource Officers to serve as a liaison between the schools and our police department by providing professional, innovative law enforcement services to the Burlington Township School District.  Officers assigned to this unit will present a positive role model for students in addition to being a resource for students, parents, and school staff.  The School Resource Officers will meet the needs of the schools, students, parents and community; while forming a partnership with law enforcement, educators and families. The SROs are part of the Community Resource Bureau, supervised by Sgt. Frank Bremer.

Officer Terrence Hreso #73 is currently assigned to the Burlington Township High School (grades 9th trough 12th). He has been a Burlington Twp. Police Officer since 2002 and has been assigned to the position of SRO since 2018. Officer Christina Bieri #105 is currently assigned to the Fountain Woods Elementary School (grades 2nd through 5th). She has been a Burlington Twp. Officer Melody Correa #94 is currently assigned to the B. Bernice Young Elementary School (grades Pre-K through 1st). She has been a Burlington Twp. Officer Ruben Ortiz-Cruz #95 is currently assigned the Burlington Township Middle School (grades 6th through 8th). He has been a Burlington Twp. All officers maintain patrols and checks of the Five Points Annex School located at 1308 Mt. Holly Road. Officers are present during morning arrivals and afternoon dismissals.
